Collect your guests' photos with Shared Moments
Give guests one QR code to share the photos they take, then show them on a slideshow and download them after.
Updated
Your guests take hundreds of photos you never see. Shared Moments collects them in one place. Guests scan a QR code, pick photos from their phone and share them. No app, no account. You see every photo in your dashboard, and you can play them as a slideshow at the reception.
Set it up
Open your invitation and choose Shared Moments in the menu. At the top of the page:
- Slideshow plays your slideshow with its settings beside it: change the pace, order, music or captions and see it straight away. Play full screen opens it in a new tab, for a screen at your reception. Get it as a video emails you the same slideshow as a video file, played once from start to finish. It is recorded as it plays, so it arrives about as long after you ask as the slideshow lasts, and the link works for 7 days.
- Guest link & QR has Copy guest link, Download QR code (to print for your tables; its logo, colours and shape come from the QR Designer) and See the guest page.
- Upload photos adds your own.
- More → Make a new guest link retires the current link. The old link and every printed QR stop working.
Print the QR code and put it where guests will see it: tables, the entrance, the photo booth.
What guests do
Guests scan the QR code or open the link, tap Upload and pick photos from their phone. Their photos appear in your gallery and on the shared page, and they can watch the slideshow too.
- Guests can share JPG, PNG and WebP photos. Videos can't be shared.
- Each photo can be up to 5 MB on the free plan and 10 MB on Premium.
- The free plan holds up to 100 guest photos. Premium has no limit.
Look after the gallery
Use All, Shared by guests, Photo Hunt, RSVP photos and Hidden to sort through the photos; each shows how many there are. Photo Hunt photos carry a tag with their square number, and RSVP photos a tag of their own. Sort by Newest first, Oldest first or Most liked, and switch between Masonry and Grid.
Click a photo to see it up close. From there you can Hide it (it leaves the shared page, the slideshow and the Photo Hunt big screen, without being deleted), download it, or delete it for good.
To download a few photos, select them and click Download. To keep them all, use More → Download all photos: we put every photo in one file, named by who shared it and when, and email you a link that works for 7 days. Photos you hid are left out — the window says how many before you ask. Photo Hunt's Download all photos does the same with a folder for every square.
Photos are saved at a size made for phones and screens, not as the original files. For full-size copies, ask the guest for the original.
Photo Hunt
Photo Hunt turns photo sharing into a game: a board of photo ideas, like "the best dance move", that guests race to capture. It uses the same QR code, and every photo lands in your gallery. Open it from Photo Hunt in the menu, just under Shared Moments. Photo Hunt is part of Premium.
Running the game. Click Open the links when guests arrive: they can scan the code, type their name and wait, and the big screen shows the code. Nobody can take photos yet. When everyone is ready, click Start. The big screen and every phone count down from 10, then the squares appear and the hunt is on. You can Pause it (nobody can add photos or join) and Resume it, or End game at any time.
It ends by itself. In Set up, choose the game's rules: how many winners there are (1, 2, 3, 5, 10, or a custom number up to 10) whether ties share a place, and, if you like, a time limit. With Ties share a place on, guests with the same score get the same place, and anyone tied for the last winning place wins too. It is off unless you turn it on, and while it is off the one who got there first is ahead. The game ends on its own when that many guests (or tables) fill their whole board, first come first served. With a time limit, it also ends when the time runs out, and the most lines win. Each game has its own rules. Once a game starts its rules are fixed, but you can set up the next game's rules while one is being played.
An ended game stays ended. Its winners are saved and you can see them in Results any time. To play again, set up a new game.
The squares lock once guests start. After the first photo, you can't change the squares, so every photo stays with the square it was taken for. To play with different squares, set up a new game.
Playing more than once. Click New game for a second round. While a game is on, the new one waits, hidden from guests, so you can get its squares ready. Open it once the game on now has ended. Guests keep their name and start from zero. The QR code, the guest link and the big-screen link stay the same.
What we keep about guests. Only the name they type (and their table, if tables play), and the photos they add. No account, email or phone number. We remove the location and camera details from every photo.
A photo on the wrong square? Open the square in Results and move the photo to the right one. Guests can also move or take off their own photos while the game is on.
